This site welcomes the user with a page full of clutter, confusion, and misleading clicks. For example, click on “project manager resume samples” on the landing page and you’re taken to a page full of general advice, not samples. On that page you’ll see a link to “project manager resume sample and writing guide”; click there and you’ll be taken to a series of design templates (and more advice)… not resume samples. 

We like advice! But this site seems to specialize in offering resume tips we didn’t ask for, not meaningful software tools and practical support. Tips, guidelines, and general recommendations are great, but some job seekers don’t want a lecture—they want a polished resume.

Once you choose your template, you can choose from different color schemes to match your style and industry. There is also a cover letter builder allowing you to create a letter using the same template as your resume. The text editor is very flexible and can be used at any time.
